I stand corrected.... I thought it was a coaching change. I know there was talk of a change in offense to more of a rush oriented attack or something that helped spur the change. I'll try to find a link on it.

NU did bring in Brian Hildebrand to add some depth at QB.... as well as some potential for the future. He'll have three years to play three, I hope he pans out.

Just heard that Leon Jackson (another four star from stellar 2005 class and a rivals100 member) has also left the team. Can't say I blame him, he was looking at 5th string at running back. It's too bad he wouldn't move to safety..... I think he could have been another Tony Veland back there.

Speaking of switching to defensive back, Tyrell Spain and Isaiah Fluellen have both made the switch from WR to CB. If they can pick up their new position fast, it will help fill the void left by Bowmans injury..... plus it helps clarify a very crowded depth chart at WR.

Speaking of WRs... this just in..... Maurice Purify is big..... Maurice Purify is fast....... He very well may be the best WR to wear a Nebraska uniform since Irving Fryer. I can't wait to see what he can do this fall.

It'll be exciting to see if this offense can take the next step with Herian back and Nunn, Swift, and Purify lining up with him. Now we just need to get a run game going. To do you think Bill will primarily play either Lucky or Glenn, or RBBC? Glenn played better last year, but Lucky is still getting plenty of hype.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what this offense can do this year. With Herian back, it's realy going to help, plus the wr's we have, and lucky and glenn. I don't know which rb will be the starter, cause both are capable imo, so im not opposed to the rbbc thing. But what im realy hoping for is for our o-line to step up. I mean, I think zack, with good protection and enough time, could realy pick defenses apart. So that's what im hoping for.

Throw in juco Kenny Wilson and a healthy Brandon Jackson, and you have alot of potential at RB. They are saying RBBC, but I have gut feeling this is the year Lucky seperates himself from the pack.

I think Glenn is a difference maker.

'rude - you forgot the best thing about Purify. He is a Purify that won't run crazy through a Craig Bohl D.

Huskers are WAY overrated this year. They beat the worst Michigan team in 30 years, and a CU team that had basically given up, and now they are supposed to be world beaters? ! They conveniently forget the butt whoopin' that Kansas put on them last year...40-15.

CU already buried them once (62-36). Stay down b****!

Bringing that **** up again?! Yeah, let's see, 62 - 36 = 26, right, where as 30-3=27, so what's the logic of that arguement anyway? Oh our ranking, well you were 1st in the Big XII north and lost 100-6 in your last two games. Keep digging b****.

Default Sam Keller?

ESPN is reporting ASU QB Sam Keller may be transferring to Nebraska. This would certainly improve our QB situation.

Anything would improve your QB situation. With Beck and the other much heralded RB transfering sounds like a sinking ship to me. Plus Taylor is a senior

Don't worry chicken little, we'll be fine. Recruits transfer all the time, and both Beck and the RB transfered because they were passed on the depth chart by other players.

Colorado, on the other hand, has some major concerns THIS year. You have a coach who is making his big school debut and a quarterback with only 2 starts in his collegiate career, and those are just the 2 biggest holes.

Don't be too confident going into this season.

Look you piece of ****, we can go rounds about my education, which is quite stellar, or you can stop being a pecker head and realize like MP and Nuggs that I was ****ing around. I am normally quite cordial with CU fans, except for the pecker heads like you who come on here, don't know our backgrounds and start spouting off at the mouth. It is duly noted that your a douche bag who cannot take a joke like the other more personable buff fans around here.

UTEP can't seem to keep a basketball coach. hopefully we can show the same improvement A&M has.
