That was the single most HORRIBLY, Agonizingly AWFUL and EMBARRASSING Games of OFFICIATING I have every seen in my ENTIRE LIFE.
It was beyond a Joke, but when it is that bad, you just have to laugh... ![]() |

Well lemme take the time to say this...
Congrats to Michigan...you guys played your hearts out. The officiating sucked tonight for sure, but you guys left it all out on the field and earned my respect tonight. |

Wow..just, wow.
Congrats to Nebraska, but they better be sending a HUGE check to the Sun Belt conference for their officials. |

2. No call on the PI on 4th down 3. 2 time outs to get a play overturned 4. 10+ seconds burns off the clock while the refs leisurely spot the ball in the final minute of the game. Sorry, that is a world class blatant screw job. The only positive that came out of this game is Michigan is officially the Big XII's b****. |

Our road games were fun because we usually did 2 games over the weekend, and either way we'd still get home at 3 or 4 am because it was about 5 hours on the bus. I went to ASU and graduated in 1985, so I haven't been there much in the last 20 years. When I do go, though, I'm amazed how it's grown no matter which direction you go. |

Wow. what a game. I had a heart attack on that last play. What a huge win for this program. Yes, the officiating was bad, but it was not as awful as some have made it out to be. They were slow on the 2 replays, called that crap return interference penalty, and seemed a little overwhelmed, but I don't think Nebraska was exactly handed the game.
Anyway I think we saw the potential this team has. We scored 32 points with craptacular pass blocking. Get some more o-line experience and look out. Restore the Order! Lets get 9+ wins next year. |

Kind of what I thought. I would comeback and see how much the refs cost 14 points the game. Yep I love this board. |

Michigan looked inconsistant liked they did all year long, that team has too much talent to let Nebraska back in the game when they were up by 10 points I don't think Michigan got screwed too badly, it should've been a flag on that last play no doubt, but there were other calls that were just as bad against Nebraska I still don't think Nebraska is all that good though |

The officiating was horrible nad althought it was exciting, I thought the game was played terriblly by both teams. Both teams lacked discipline and concentration on their assignments. Gabe Watson - Former first round potential can be renamed Jelly Junior. He did nothing but stand around in the middle of the field and make Ross run around him. Bronc fans who want a pass rushing DT can cross him off their list. Avant - Totally invisible until the fourth quarter when he made a nice catch on the sidelines and then on his next chance made the game changing mistake by fumbling. Caught a couple of quick outs later that meant nothing. Never saw him throw a block and seemed to run his routes lazily. Bullocks - Sorry DB, but Until the last drive when he made a big hit after a 20 yard run (after he bit on the fake), he spent most of the time standing flat footed and/or out of position while the plays went by him. He may have some potential but he didn't show it last night. Ross (QII) - Had a nice game and will probaly find his way on to an NFL roster, but it will be tough with the glut of RBs already in the NFL and in this draft. |

No surprise here that your argument is totally one-sided and lacking any real thought. You didn't list any of the times Nebraska got screwed..ie the big one where Shanle was nailed for a 15 yard penalty on the punt return that gave them momentum when they scored the go ahead touchdown. Then you try to pin the people running onto the field squarely on Nebraska when Michigan was just as guilty. Yeah the officiating sucked big time, and in my opinion they should be reprimanded by the NCAA at the very least. |
