Anyone else find it funny that someone that cheers for Indiana is preaching about ethics? Did you forget about the numerous years that Bobby Knight coached there Nappy?

Pot, meet Kettle...

For someone who likes to insult the intelligence of others like nappy, he did not earn any IQ points by preaching ethics here. Especially after his torching of my wife.

Nobody more ethical than Knight...Clearly you know very little about one of the greatest coaches of all time. Hot tempered and hates the media but the guy is nothing if not ethical.

We must have different definitions of ethical. Personally, I think hitting a player is unethical. I think treating your players like crap is unethical. But hey, whatever floats your boat Nappy.

I didn't realize you were talking about this year. So, does that mean Ohio State=Nebraska this year?

Speaking of toilets and integrity....I rid my self of more integrity every time I take a dump than you have possessed in your entire life.

We clearly have different definitions as it appears you don't understand what the word means....Treating somebody like crap is called being an a-hole. Has zero to do with ethics. You weren't by chance on a football scholarship under Snyder at KSU were you?

ANY, and I repeat ANY college football fan preaching about ethics should get off their moral high ground. Athletic Departments exist for $$$. Good athletics=more $$$=academic improvement for students who are there to get an education.

There are tons of top notch colleges and universities that don't have a football program or have football programs that lose money. And for that matter the few football programs that do rake in the money don't throw that back to the academia world...that jack all gets spent back in the athletic departments...So don't pretend that is helping academics.

NU only needs 4 more wins to be up to us, and we only need to lose 3.

Holy crap. Callahan burned Beck's redshirt?!?

Quote:
From Pat Forde's Forde-Yard Dash

Coach Who Should Take The Bus To Work
Even on the rare occasion when Nebraska's Bill Callahan (37) does something right, he still counterbalances it by doing something disdainful. Like Saturday. The Cornhuskers beat Kansas State to earn their first bowl bid under NFL Boy. In the process, Callahan proceeded to take the redshirt off freshman quarterback Harrison Beck (38) -- in the fourth quarter of the 10th game of the season.

You think Cally was feeling a little pressure to make a bowl in Year Two or what?

Beck sort of led Nebraska on the winning drive to become bowl eligible. (He completed one pass in six attempts for the game, and his best contributions might have been tackling a defender who intercepted one of his passes and taking a roughing-the-passer penalty on the winning drive.) Callahan better hope that fourth quarter -- and what could be a trip to Shreveport for the Independence Bowl, woo-hoo -- was worth a year of Beck's career.

3 wins is all that seperates us for 2nd most wins since 1950 as well(going into this season), so if we have 4 more wins this season then OSU takes over as the 2nd most winningest program since 1950(only trailing Oklahoma.)

If you guys can win 10, you'll get it then because the Bugeaters aren't improving upon the 6 they have now.

With that NU win over KSU, giving them 6 on the year, the Huskers may not have to change their fight song to "I'll be home for Christmas" afterall.
