Come on man, in all honesty, has OSU never had a down season or a rebuilding season? I don't know OSU history that much, so I'm not sure.

I just don't call 1-2 down years falling from such prestige. Maybe in a very short term sense, but there is still alot to prove for us that could go either way.

Florida,

In all honesty, we can expect this until we get back into the post season in a respectable bowl on or near the first of January. Until we can do that and win, we are going to have the label of "falling out of prestige". We can join the ranks of those such as Notre Dame, Penn State, and soon to be OU as well. I love Nebraska football as well, but come on, we have to call a spade a spade. NU is coming back, hell we should have beaten the #13/#11 team in the nation save for some fat ass lineman who couldn't get his ass down. This year is definitely not lost but we need to run the table from here on out to get any type of respect. With that said...

GO HUSKERS!

I see this thread has degenerated into a pissing contest nicely.
Let's see here. See if I can call up some patented Bronco type smack.
Ohio St.... They still play football there
Saul, Saul, Saul... You're the last guy as a KState fan to be bringing up schedules. Snyder has made a living beating up on the Little Sisters of the Poor every year.
Just hope Alan Everidge can manage to direct KState to a couple of TD's this weekend against TT to make it look respectible because you guys are going to get smoked.
Huskers will have their hands full against Baylor this weekend. This could have been a trap game had the Huskers won against TT but since they lost I don't expect that to happen. Taylor has to cut down on the turnovers. But I love this teams never say die attitude. Reminds me of 93.
Texas will have their hands full when they playTech and that game will be for the South Championship.. And hope of hopes things fall into place and if Nebraska takes care of business and all works out we could possibly see them again this year.
Time will tell.

Go Big Red!!

Like I said, to even fathom that thought, we're going to have to run the tables from here on out, and you know how CU can be that buzz kill for us!

This thread would be much more entertaining with DBroncos4life-type responses.

Since Woody Hayes took over in 1951, Ohio State has endured just 3 losing seasons and one even record .500 campaign.

1959: 3-5-1 (under Woody Hayes)
1966: 4-5 (under Woody)
1988: 4-6-1 (in John Cooper's first season)
1999: 6-6 (in Cooper's second to last season)

I'm not AS worried about the team as I was a few weeks ago. The offense is starting to crank up and the defense has more than carried their weight. Losing Bradley at LB hurts but with Ickes taking over the position were still in good hands. There wasn't much separating the 2 anyway. I'd love to see them play Dillard more. Maybe try him at OLB.
Glad to know the game Saturday will be shown on PPV. I'm certain this will be more entertaining than the Sooners and Kansas. Not to demean either team but some of the luster has worn off. Considering Oklahoma and Kansas were picked by many to win the North and South.
Hell, College football is getting to be more and more like pro football where everyteam is different every year.

I think you could probably drop Iowa St. and aTm and Kansas and if they don't get going possibly Oklahoma. I believe Nebraska and Baylor are bowl bound. Especially Nebraska if they win Saturday.

I think K-State can manage a win against aTm and Mizzou. 1 out of 3 vs CU, NU, or ISU. That'd put us at 7 wins. I'd be very happy with that.

To qualify this statement...OU sucks this year...now that I have that out in the open...

Nebraska and TTech have played NO ONE this year. NU beat ISU, but it took overtime and ISU's running back not to be in the game for that to happen. The Jugeraut Pitt panthers could have beat you in Lincoln. Then your other two wins over sisters of the poor Maine and Wake?

TTech PULEEZ! Fla Int Sam Houston Indiana St Wait until they Play Texas....

The big XII is way down this year...it will be Colorado in the North and Texas in the South.

I didn't say anything to contradict that, but Kansas?! What the fu@k, they suck! I am pleased with the way we played last week but have yet to relive the glory days (as I posted a few posts up to Fla Bronco).

Next year my man, Next year. I still think we could go 7-4 or 8-3. But I do think we'll be bowling this holiday season instead of watching it all on TV.

My company is going to be promoting a Christmas album that actually has a song with Michael Bolton on it. One of my friends has offered to give me $20 if I actually promote it as "the CD with that no talent ass clown on it".

I'm thinking that's an easy $20.
