The Broncos aren't desperate to save $$$....and we all agree we only need one guy with the last name Ball playing RB....so Lance will be the odd man out as he's a good soldier but an average RB.

The Broncos will keep McGahee, Moreno, Montee, and Hillman which despite their flaws (real or imagined) gives us a pretty solid RB corps regardless of what anyone thinks

And since Bowlen is broke, he'll make Montee wear #35, so he doesn't have to pay for another jersey to be made, and fans can keep their Lance Ball jerseys (if anyone even bought one)
I would not be surprised to see Lance Ball make the roster, he plays on several special teams units (something Moreno, Mcgahee and Hillman do not). I do believe Hester is on special teams as well, so there is a chance Hester could take Lance Ball's spot.

Ball is set to make 1.3 million dollars to play special teams, while Hester is set to make 715K. No way Ball makes the team at a special team gunner at 1.3 million dollars.

If I'm Elway, given the fact you need at least two good RB's nowadays, and we ended up with our two starters injured, I wouldn't want my RB's playing special teams unless they absolutely had to.

**** that! Lance Ball needs to go! he's been on this roster and sucking up PT and practice reps for far too long. we can replace his contributions on ST for much less and have another back factor in on the offensive side of the ball.

he and Willis should not make this team any longer. too much depth and potential talent to have them on this team.

At first I was not pleased with the selection, but after some time to think about it -- I hope the guy succeeds. Good vision, patience and some power. Catches the ball well too. Does all the little things right. He won't ever take it 75+ yards and beat anyone with speed, but considering we have a perfect compliment to him in Hillman (if he pans out) -- he is exactly what we needed. Rooting for him to do well.

So as per your pattern (act the fool on draft day only to "like" the choices late) shall we now start calling him Meth Ball or maybe Eight Ball.

Still don't understand the Mario Fannin or Jeremiah Johnson love on this site.....what the **** have they shown anyone to warrant such accolades?

not to mention he has 9 fumbles in his two season of playing in Denver.....

Moreno fumbled once...was demoted and made inactive, but when McGahee got injured who did the staff promote? Moreno....who then went onto to run the ball 20+ in like 4-5 games straight and show he could handle it until he was injured in playoff loss...and he didn't fumble showing he evidently learned from his being humbled.

That's my guess. Assuming he is healthy, I would luv to try to get a late pick him, but I may be to optimistic though.

Moreno has blown two knees in 207 touches.

How do you define "Blown?" He didn't tear anything last season. All we know is that he had arthroscopic surgery (scope) and had a Stem cell injection.

I get Curtis Martin or Thurman Thomas more than I get Terrell Davis. I also don't think he's as strong as Davis.

Outside of Webster, I felt the Broncos did tremendous in this draft.

Just wary of his damn mileage.

He did carry a huge load in college and it doesn't get any easier in the NFL.

You know that McGahee had a blown knee his senior season in college, and in 2008, and 2012.......but yet you think Moreno's knee is a reason why he should be cut?

I think they both should be cut. Nice try though.

Ball isn't going to be a huge factor looking at how Fox runs rookies. I think if Ball a big factor it would be 2nd half of the year not the first half.

Let someone else draft him in fantasy football.

It's super cute though that you think injuries that have happened in 2003, 2008, and 2012 are even remotely worrisome as injuries that happened 8 games apart I mean ONE of the two players has proven that he can RECOVER from a multiple knee injures and play a season.
