Knowshon Moreno had knee surgery after the season

I hate to say it, but if Moreno finishes the Baltimore game, we win walking away. He was playing solid (for our system) by the end of the year. I still think he should be our #2 back - but we need to find a new #1.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind having a completely new stable of running backs next season (Hillman excepted)? I like Moreno and McGahee, and they will do fine if both come back next year, but I wouldn't cry if they were gone.

I have supported Moreno since the get-go and was one of the only advocates of Willis when we signed him as a free agent. That being said, I would not mind a complete revamp. Willis put the ball on the ground too many times last year and who knows what Moreno's health will be like. Can't necessarily rely on them.

Give me a Le'veon Bell or Stefan Taylor (preferably the former) in round 3 and bring in a free agent who will come affordably.

I've said it before about Moreno that he has a lot in common with a woman or whiskey. Just when you need them the most your left high and dry. He got hurt in the biggest game of the year and I believe if he didn't Denver would of won easily.

Gotta let Moreno go. If he's turning to stem cells this early in his career his knees are already garbage. Unreliable since we drafted him, slow and a bust. Time to move on. Willis I'm on the fence on. I think he could be still salvageable, maybe not a starter though. Hillman yet to be seen. I think they need to make some move one way or the other..IMO...

Not much in terms of cap dollars.....maybe $2-3 mil combined if they're lucky, depending on which sources you trust. But then they'd just have to sign 2 other guys anyway, which would eat up at least that much if they were anything more than bottom feeders. In which case, what would be the point really?

Keep them both and see how they look in camp/preseason. Lose Ball. Draft one in the middle to late rounds and pick up another as an undrafted FA. Make a move for Dwyer.

Id rather sign one in FA and draft one. But i guess that depends on how much you trust Hillman

Why not? They aren't elite backs. I would love to see a new stable of RB's.

He's weak, and one dimensional; sucks against the blitz and doesn't have the sand to pound out yards after contact. Speed is great but the entire league is fast. Dude needs to break a tackle every so often or put the nose down and go through a defender for an extra 2 yards. He was handed the game to put it away against the Ravens and failed. True competitors do better than 4 yds on 3 carries in that situation.

He needs to bulk up. He should be better this upcoming season.
