This loss stings and it will for a LONG time. As a franchise, we may never live this down.
But at least I still have a horse in this race -- the Seattle Seahawks. Feel free to join the Seattle bandwagon. If they take care of Atlanta and then SF or GB next week, they'll be poised to smack down either Brady or Flacco & Lewis. And who wouldn't like to see that happen? Go Hawks! |

At least Pete Carroll has some balls, unlike the Denver coaching staff who are the epitome of p***ies.
Kubes also doesn't have that killer instinct; he's gonna get clobbered by Brady and Belicheat, both of whom understand that in the playoffs, you need to "Man Up" and grow a pair. |

I just want the Ravens to lose in humiliating fashion. Maybe have it tied up with a couple seconds left and have a RB just steam roll Ray Lewis on his way to a game-winning TD. Have him retire in style.
That would make me less upset. Maybe. Probably not. |

Yep. I'm rooting for the Seahawks to go all the way, but I'm rooting big time for Kubes tomorrow. If that whiny pissant Brady and that dishonest creep Belichick get another trip to the SB, I'm going to boycott the damn thing.

Broncos first and ALWAYS first.
But when they're out of the Big Dance, I like to have a backup horse in the race. You can still make money at the race track by betting on a horse to "place". |

**** football. I'm done for the year. I hope Pete Carroll gets AIDS from an escort.
The best scenario is Kubes and the Texans Harbaugh brothers = AIDS. Pete Carroll = AIDS. BB = Super AIDS. Kubes = Cool. I won't be watching though. |

I want Seattle vs. New England. The Rookie vs. the Veteran. The high energy, cheating college coach vs. the quiet, cheating NFL coach.
Sure, no one wants to see NE back in the Big Dance, but who wouldn't want to see them lose their 3rd straight Super Bowl to an upstart team like Seattle? |

What, exactly, is it about Pete Carroll that you guys don't like? Because by any measure, he has been a very, VERY successful college *and* NFL head coach. His players love him, the media in Seattle likes him, and he seems to get his players to over-achieve.
Oh, and unlike Fox and McCoy, he actually has a pair of balls and isn't afraid to throw on 3rd and 7 or go for it on 4th down with the game on the line. And with 30 seconds left on the clock before overtime (and 2 timeouts), I guarantee you he would be calling for some deep passes trying to win the game in regulation. What's not to like? |

Hehe. But I have a feeling that he'll be in Seattle for a while. He has one of the youngest teams in the league, he has a stud for a QB, 2 of the best shut-down corners in the league, and the defensive rookie of the year.
He also has a great owner, the biggest home field advantage in all of major sports, and a destination that is a super attractive to free agents in spite of its location in the Northwest corner of the country. |

And there's nuttin' wrong with cheering for two teams, especially now that the Hawks are NOT a divisional rival and haven't been for more than a decade. In fact, the Hawks are the only team in the league to have switched conferences TWICE! They started out in the NFC West for a year (1976), then switch to the AFC West from from 1977 to 2001, and then switched back to the NFC West in 2002. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_Seahawks I live in Seattle and love the city, & I'm proud to still have a horse in the race! |
