Man, this thread just makes me think of this:

The Broncos were cruising toward an easy 30-7 victory in Kansas City when Derrick Thomas, the late linebacker, was the culprit in one of the most infamous implosions in "MNF" history. Five times in Denver's final touchdown drive the Chiefs drew personal foul penalties, three of them by Thomas, each one blatant and intentional and each, if you believe him, inspired by Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe said he had memorized the phone number of Thomas' girlfriend, and that he was reciting it number by number across the line of scrimmage. "I knew at that particular time, at that stage of the game, I could say some things to him and it would bother him," Sharpe said. Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt declared his organization "disgraced," head coach Marty Schottenheimer was reduced to tears, and Thomas was suspended for the next game.

I have lived in many cities from the east coast to the west coast.. I have always followed my team and rooted for them..

That said I admire many of the other teams because they have among other things,
great owners willing to hire the folks they HOPE that will bring them a Lombardi..
great coaches that inspire their players to win.
great GM's that make their coaches better by giving them talent.
great players
great fans of their teams..

It is easy sometime to make fun of morons that come on here or any Bronco forum and talk smack..

But IMO the is a time or place to do that..

Most of what I list above the chefs do not have or did not have for a long time..

However they have been sucking up talent over the years and finnally have a decent HC that is going to make them better..

will they be good enough to beat us consistnetly with Manning behind center.. only time will tell..

I'm guessing they will from time to time whoop up on us and then will crow about it..

Lots of folks forget we did not have a winning season for 17 years..

Winning by 3 pts is not kicking someone's ass.

17 years? It was 13, the first winning season was 73.

A decent coach? Who?

I remember that game that poor guy was all screwed up in the head by motor mouth..

I actually felt bad for him..

He was such an incredible talent..

I seem to recall DT grabbing Sharpe's facemask a time or two.
This on top of a MNF football ass stompin or how about beating them in the playoffs to go on to win the superbowl. All good stuff..............

Actually I do, for the most part petty and rude..

I'm guessing that on one of the chefs boards they are saying much the same about us..

I susepct that they will be better this year than YOU think they will be..

But then if we kick their asses in both games Then I'll pile on..
