It's time... The Denver Broncos are on the clock with the 28th pick.
Still sitting there is: Xavier Rhodes CB, Kevin Minter MLB, Kawaan Short DT, Matt Elam S, and Eddie Lacy RB. Who do YOU want the Broncos to take?? I'll post my answer after some replies. Last edited by NickStixx; 01-22-2013 at 01:22 PM.. |

I'd take the DT if he is worth it. Only because we currently have none on the roster Under contract for 2013.

If we can't get Minter I'm really starting to lean towards Elam as my favorite target. He reminds me a lot of Bob Sanders.

Hey all,
I don't know about Minter... The more tape I watch on him, I'm just not impressed. He seems to be really slow to me. Conversly when I watch tape on Xavier Rhodes, I am impressed with his athleticism and football skills. So I would be fine if Denver decided to take him if he is still available at this pick (which he might not be) Also, as some of you might know, I am a big Eddie Lacy fan. I wouldn't be upset with that pick either. However, after I posted this last night I was hearing that Denver is looking into CB Joradan Poyer out of Oregon St. His tape also looks good. In conclusion, if all of these guys are actually still around at the #28 pick I really like our chances to pick the right guy. I wouldn't be upset with any one of these guys. Elam looks like he will be a great safety as well. But believe me, I have been wanting a good MLB for a while now... I just don't see that in Minter as much I want him to be. Perhaps one of you Minter lovers can change my mind. |

If those guys were all available I wouldn't be shocked to see Elway trade down.

We have not won a SB since Elam was on the team. So that is my choice

Pass on Rhodes. Better value later. Out of that group only Lacy would be my pick. He would free up cap room because we can let McGahee walk. I think we trade out. Someone will will want a LT or QB.

My mock that's almost complete has us trading out with Buffalo, they will panic and want Nassib.
