You're equating a presidential approval poll with election predictions and/or pre-election polls?

You're a one-man fallacy generating machine.

In any event, getting a forecast wrong isn't the same thing as "faking" something.

Your inability to make such a simple distinction is amazing.

Flew over your head Pigeon

Fake polls helped get the predictions wrong.

We, the smart people who support Trump, know they don’t poll equally on both sides and modify the questions.

Blue dog dems helped candidate Trump become President Trump. Manufacturing is vital to our economy.

Campaigning in 1892, McKinley said, “Open competition between high-paid American labor and poorly paid European labor will either drive out of existence American industry or lower American wages.”

Substitute “Asian labor” for “European labor” and is this not a fair description of what free trade did to U.S. manufacturing these last 25 years? Some $12 trillion in trade deficits, arrested wages for our workers, 6 million manufacturing jobs lost, 55,000 factories and plants shut down.

McKinley’s future vice president, Teddy Roosevelt, agreed with him, “Thank God I am not a free trader.”

What did the Protectionists produce?

From 1869 to 1900, GDP quadrupled. Budget surpluses were run for 27 straight years. The U.S. debt was cut two-thirds to 7 percent of GDP. Commodity prices fell 58 percent. U.S. population doubled, but real wages rose 53 percent. Economic growth averaged 4 percent a year.

And the United States, which began this era with half of Britain’s production, ended it with twice Britain’s production.

Under Warren Harding, Cal Coolidge and the Fordney-McCumber Tariff, GDP growth from 1922 to 1927 hit 7 percent, an all-time record.

Economic patriotism put America first, and made America first.

That era is completely different then today. At no time did 1900 America have to deal with world wide supply chains. Those supply chains were in the neighbor states at worse.

Too thick to understand the difference between something "faked" and a prediction that turned out to be wrong.

It’s BS that cheap European labor was competing with highly paid American labor at this time. Blacks in the post reconstruction era were their primary competition and they were paid ****. Europeans were brought here to compete with them for jobs, not high paid American workers. Employers preferred to hire whites in many cases which opened up the immigration market with Europe.

Add history to the things this clown is clueless about.

Do you realize President Bankruptcy's tariffs have been such a disaster for farmers that a $12B government bail-out has been deemed necessary in order to stop the bleeding?

Or has Hannity not mentioned this development on his show?

He should have had more faith in the voter supression strategies and the racism in his white evangelical base like Tonyels. Without them he would have lost, meaning he’d have lost worse than he did since he got 3 million fewer votes even with them. Imagine if the white church folks actually cared about bigotry and hatred towards their black black brethren and didn’t go 80% for Satan’s Spawn. He’d have been crushed. But true to form, Tonyels and his ilk helped usher the dictator in as reliable useful idiots.

This neofreetrader party might have to recruit Mitt Romney to switch sides to have someone coherent to run come 2020.

I like it.

Even if you take the usual GOP dirty tricks out of the equation, Benedict Donald only won because of the electoral college, and because he ran against the crappiest of all possible Democratic candidates (who still got 3M more votes.)

The Midwest states tRump won by such slim margins are highly unlikely to support him again in 2020 (if he's still in office) now that farmers and other blue collar workers have realized the extent to which they have been taken by a con man.

You're almost as historically challenged as BibleBot.

The time to reevaluate trade agreements has long passed.

You can't put the globalization genie back in the bottle now.

The US also had a post-war industrial base in the north built up thanks to war time production and an installed labor base that was dirt cheap, cost almost nothing to educate and maintain and had no rights to be protected. That’s a right wing dream scenario. There were also virtually no Asian competitors for the markets we were in.

Comparing economic conditions from post civil war era industries to those today is absurd.

Same principle.

And, learn from history or you will repeat mistakes over and over again.

Free trade fine as long as it’s fair. President Trump is correcting past mistakes.
