True.

The Copa has Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, the US, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Peru, etc...it's a dense tournament. Then you have the passionate plucky upstarts. Good stuff.

Not to mention that this is the first big tournament in the US since 1994 and that the games are a blast to attend.

Bang for buck, a much higher quality tournament. Not to mention it's the first iteration in what is to become the major competitor for the Euros over the next 50 years if they continue to include CONCACAF.
ag ag ag, away and feel your head. Brazil didn't even send a 2nd team, nevermind a first team to the tournament. That's how much they valued the Mickey Mouse Cup.

These statements are always goofy.

Brazil got knocked out in round one.

I'll take South America over European soccer on most days.

Brazil got knocked out Ron cos they sent over a young team because the Olympics is more important to them as they are hosting it. But there's good reason why European nations have won the last 3 World Cup's. They're better. Sure Germany even won it on South American soil, the first time ever a European team did that considering the distinct advantage those sides have when they play in that heat. Italy then Spain won it twice in a row for Europe before Germany. I also don't see any South American sides coming even close in Russia, won't be able to cope with the cold weather.

6 games? left. They have to shake it up if they want to qualify for the WC. It's the right move as they currently sit in last place. Next match is in March

About time. There has been little to no growth in the youth section of the program and the style of the play has become boring......

I've grown to enjoy soccer a lot more than football these. I've been in England for 3 years and only last year (2015) I decided I was going to pick the closest team to where I live.

Believe it or not, it was Leicester City. I thought to myself, "Sweet, not a big club, I'll be able to get tickets to matches all the time". Little did I know...

Picked up Leicester vs Chelsea and Leicester vs Man U tickets. Probably both losses for the Foxes.

Nice! I hope Liverpool can play a little better defense and take the top spot from Chelsea, while fending off Arsenal, The Spurs, and Man City. We'll see.

That's how I picked Liverpool. It's the closest team to my ancestral homeland (Anglesey, Wales) that probably won't get relegated. Next would have been Everton, then the Manchesters and I would pick MC over MU.

I don't see Chelsea giving up that top spot any time soon. They are just excellent defense. It should be interesting though!

Good for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, even though they will more than likely get smashed by Chelsea.

Chelsea will win the league; it's more or less already over. Arsenal will finish top 4 and then crash out in champion's league, because it's all they know how to do.

City is kinda crap and United is finding their mojo again. United actually has more points in 2016 calendar year, which is kind of shocking considering how dire United has been for the past 3 seasons, by their standards. I suspect United will beat out City for top 4 with Liverpool rounding it out.

Tottenham is always a team "on the rise" but somehow never manages to do anything other than disappoint come May.
