Default Welcome to the Broncos, Phillip Lindsay

Udfa I know, but he is a local favorite and I think a lot of us will be pulling for him.

Love the pick up and I hope he thrives

Real good chance to make the roster with not much in front of him.

If he can return kicks, a good chance to make the team.

They have three guys who are guaranteed to make the roster, so it basically comes down to him and David Williams for that last spot (assuming they carry four backs). Unless he can win a spot as a returner it's probably going to be pretty tough.

I think itís more realistic that he makes the roster as STer like Sloter, but getting a pure football energy guy in the room is never a bad thing.

Heís our very own Rudy.

I like his attitude and energy. Reminds me a bit of Welker because of his stature. Put him in the slot and as a 3rd down rb, and heíll have a chance. But he spends his 1st year on the PS. Doubt there would be any worry about him getting poached.

Two words for Phillip Lindsay ... SPECIAL TEAMS. You want to make the team... become Rudy.

Terrell Davis made the team by delivering the hammer blow on special teams.

If we keep Carlos Henderson (I expect we will) and have no obvious "IR-stashes" like Carlos pretty much was last year...then I feel he will need to beat out McKenzie at returner as well as all other WR's including Sunshine/Kenny Bell/Cracraft to earn a spot on the 53.

Then needs to beat out 7th rounder RB David Williams as well.

LOCKS: WR: DT, Eeeee, Sutton, Hamilton and Henderson.
RB: Booker, Henderson, Rolls Royce

I think we have 1 more space available assuming we keep Jano and I would think we will.

Probably a PS guy but if he can excel at ST's and he is the best we have, I would love it. He would be a big fan fave (as long as he can hold on to the football and put that 4.39 speed to work!) I, too, would love to see some plays designed for him in the slot position.

I love that we got Lindsay. Dude just needs a chance. He's got the right attitude and is a grinder. I firmly believe he will be our returner and take McKenzie's spot.

He can also be a great slot weapon.

I take it the current #5 RB on our roster is going to be this years Sloter?

Unlike Sloter, he'll have a chance to make the roster, even if it's just as a STer.

Those of you who are doubting him - that's fine - you haven't watched him as much as people from around here have over the last few years.

He's a feelgood story for the locals. I sure hope he sticks, it would be awesome.

Ill be rooting for you Lindsey. I agree with the thoughts of being primarily a returner but also can play a role on 3rd downs in the slot or catching the ball out of the backfield. Has a deceptively good amount of wiggle to him

All he has to do it beat out David Williams for the 4th spot or Isaiah McKenzie as our returner. I actually think he has a great chance to make the roster. He may be little but the toughness and attitude he brings is contagious. Broncos fans from other parts of the country are going to love this kid.
