Default 2019 mock drafts

It's time to turn the page and look forward to Christmas in April 2019.

Reading this and lol when I see Oakland projected at 5-11. Scroll a little further and see Denver at 6-10. AAArg! Not buying that, except VJ is our coach. But their reasoning was letting Talib go and not replacing him. No faith in Roby? I don't either, at least not to Talib's level.

What is the expectation with Keenum at the helm?

We better not go 6-10 or someone's going to change the channel. Hear that Mr. Radio...

No obsession but Denver improved alot this offseason.

- Dont have to like Keenum but he's miles better than Lynch and Siemian, as well as Brock.
- King is a massive upgrade at punter, field position always key.
- Losing Talib sucks but that money was put to good use in other areas of the roster.
- Hamilton, Sutton as well as Henderson are an upgrade over the #3 spot at WR last year.
- Butt healthy now, and will give Keenum a threat over the middle at TE.
- Cravens helps with RB's/TE's which we've struggled for years.
- Chubb opposite Von shouldnt allow teams to double Von as much as last year.
- Defensive line if healthy is quite good as well, very deep group.
- Some players from last year playing prominent roles Henderson RB, Henderson WR/KR/PR, Butt TE, Walker DL, Bolles improving in year 2.
- On the OL, Garcia/Watson not starting is already a big deal.

Looks like someone else agrees about Buffalo. Thats why I wanted that proposed trade to include 2019 1st round pick not pick 22. Their 2019 will be higher than 22

Thus assuming Chubb was off the board.

If they finish 6-10 Id be shocked. I think well be in the bosa sweepstakes next April. Hopefully a stud qb makes a name for himself between now and then.

Add to that we're playing a last place schedule with proper middle of the season bye week. If we only win 6 games next year then VJ is history.

I'm sure we'll be going through the QB circus again next year... not that I'm anti Keenum but he's not a 10 year guy... and if he's average this year then the heat will be on.

No longer a 5-11 team but 7-9,8-8 maybe 9-7?

Broncos fans are the only ones hyping Keenum. He had no market outside of Denver, at least not for a guaranteed starting role. Vegas has us at 7.5 wins after the draft. If we had a franchise quarterback it would undoubtedly be higher.

If we were talking about this one year ago...Keenum WAS Siemian.

Be careful about looking at a career year and extrapolating that performance into the future. Nobody knows how he will do here.

He's going to have the same O-line Siemian had for starters...
