What would that do to the short-term prospects of your school? You gotta realize that even with sheer talent, that is going to kill off much of the momentum that you guys have gained in the offseason and it could lead to a very down class or two coming in. Granted, this is the doomsday scenario in Nebraska, but then again, how long will the AD there accept losing before Callahan gets the axe? One season? Two? Its going to be a very critical year for Nebraska and it could be ugly if they struggle.

Our AD understands this to be a challenge. I'm thinking if he doesn't do well after 3 or 4 years he is gone. They will let his recruits play and see what they can do. Its hard to blame a coach when the guy before you left you with 0 talent and 0 depth at key positions. Regardless I don't think this team will stay down long. He's brought in too many good players for that to happen.
