That was a great game until our defense just decided to coast for most of the 2nd half. This game should have never gone to overtime, but luckily the defense got it in gear when it mattered. KU is a talented football team though and it sounds like this coach of theirs has them improving, so they might be competitive here soon.

Holy **** boys, what the hell was with the lack of pass rush most of the second half, and what was with the DB's and Safeties not attacking the ball. Callahan better get something changed with his play calling as well. Just showed where we need major improvement.

went to the game and wow...what a rollercoaster. A win is a win is a win, but our D looked pretty bad at times. They had 94 plays run against them, a record for a Nebraska opponent. I'll never forget that late Hardy TD on 3rd and 18. The stadium went from deathly silent to complete bedlam. Looks like we've got our work cut out for us in the NOrth this year, but there is no need to apologize for a win. Our secondary is going to hurt us all year. We just better hope we keep them off the field more by running effectivly. Go Big Red!

What's everyone's predictions for the game? I don't know a whole lot about this KSU team, but their defense is supposed to be fairly decent. I would guess their offense will be able to make it's share of plays against our secondary, but I don't see the shirts giving up too much to Freeman. I expect Callahan for the most part to stick with the same gameplan he used in our other two road games: run, run, run. Maybe a little more passing. I'll say 35-14 Nebraska.

Texas/Nebraska game time set: 11am CT. Better have your O-line and D-line ready because our line play has been dominate. We had a 6yrd QB sneak on a 3rd & 1 against OU. It looked like McCoy was body surfing out there.

Niles Paul will joing Ian Harris in the Army All-American game. He still needs to clear the NSAA, per another board.

![]() I just thought you Nebraska fans would be interested to know that BEVO XIII died a few days ago. You may remember him. He is the one that after Nebraska beat Texas in the 1999 Big XII Championship game at the Alamo Dome, he took a big dump on the Nebraska logo as he walked off the field. R.I.P. BEVO XIII |
