You can always get OC's and DC's to do the X's and O's for you at a high level but you can't hire anybody to give you leadership.
He was a high risk gamble that a traditional power like Nebraska had no business taking. Gambling on a guy like that is something that a non-football power does because they have to…not a Nebraska.

A week ago I would have argued with you...... now I can't.
It's one thing to lose to Oklahoma and Texas Tech in a competitive ball game and feel like the team is getting better. It's another to get throttled by Kansas. I was not even born the last time they lost to Kansas. The next record to go is going to be the 270+ consecutive sellouts.
I still think he gets one more year, and in all fairness deserves one more year to try and turn things around .... but for the first time I am having my doubts.
