The teams that have had success are those that could stretch the defense and throw the ball way downfield. Samardzija of Notre Dame really torched us last year. Smash mouth football will never get it done against Pete Carroll's defenses. The linebackers are probably the most talented and deepest in the country. Nebraska has a very good pass rush. But there is also a matchup problem there. USC has 2 O-linemen probably in the top 5 in the country. Ryan Kalil is the best center in college football, has been starting since freshman year. And Sam Baker is arguably the best Tackle in the country. It will take a hell of a game from the Cornhuskers and an off week for the Trojans if the Huskers expect to win. Not to mention, the Colisseum is a tough place to play.

Did you watch last weeks game? I know it was against a bad team but I am pretty sure they where ranked last season. Also, it showed at the end of last season if you happened to catch any of those games. After a while when they all finally had some experience our passing game has way opened up. In fact we won a lot of games and I will tell you right now that it wasn't at all the run game. We sucked at running last year.
Swift and Nunn have come a long way and they can make catches easily down field. Taylor also has the arm to get it to them and can stand in the pocket for valuable extra time to deliver the ball. I think you need to watch a Nebraska game.
