Doesn't sound like Bill is going to tell us the dirty details, but he is gone. So long ...we hardly knew you. Not sure what the hell happened, but it sounds like it might be best if this kid was outside the spotlight for a while so he can mature. I guess being demoted to 4th string this past weekend didn't sit well with him. From what I hear was that he wasn't participating in all the summer workouts and was still having trouble picking up the offense. Walking out on the practices this weekend was the final straw. That and having your Mommy call out Zac Taylor saying that "No offense, but my boy is the better player." Man.. I'd die of embarrassment if my Mother did something like that. Fact is if he was the better player he'd be higher up in the pecking order. Just another example that ratings for HS players are a load of crap.
The kid quit. There's no room at Nebraska for quitters.
