Those are excellent points. When you schedule big schools, they demand "home and home" series to split gates ... in the past decade, we H&H'd with all the schools I listed, UCLA, USC, etc ... and right now we're in the middle of home and homes with Florida State, N. Carolina, Arizona State and Georgia.

But of course home games are considerably more lucrative ... when you play "Troy", you don't have to return the visit, so you make more money. And even when "Nicholls" is the guest, the 2nd largest city in Nebraska on Autumn Saturdays is still you-know-where.

So in addition to being brave Buffaloes, we don't have the luxury of scheduling "Nicholls" type teams, cause the gate suffers. Our facilities are below average - still no bubble field - so maybe we should invite a few "Troys" to improve our stuff to attract more top recruits.
