Im betting he will be better than solich. I mean I was upset at first when solich left because he ran the option, and that's what osbourne did and was obviously sucessful at it for many years. I didn't think at the time we should have changed that. Why fix somthing that aint broke? but solich was a horrible evalulator or talant and bringing in recruits. see jamal lord. fast as hell, but not that great of a qb. I think he would have made a good wr. he had corey ross as a db when ross first came here. Calahan has brought in right people, very good recruits to run the west coast, and it is showing. It's not perfect, but it's working. he is only in his second year. there is more to improve on, but we are definatly in the right direction. don't underestimate him. he had to rebuild a team that is tought option to west coast. that's pretty hard to do in two years as much as he has accomplised. next year will be better. as far as our D goes. Well cosgrove has done a great job keeping the black shirts as their dominant selves. I was upset we didn't keep polini (sp) but cosgrove has done an excellent job.
